Wainui - One of a collection of the famous old tugs that still operate throughout New Zealand. Immortalised as cartoons in bright vivid colour. Wainui is currently working out of Whangarei Harbour where she helps many ships and barges in and out. She is owned and operated by Mike Thomson of Kaipara Towboats LTD.
